PTA Contributions & Community Events

PTA fundraising efforts are critical to providing quality programs, supplies and activities for our children.

Here is a sampling of the diverse programs for which PTA provides volunteer & financial support:

There are a few major sources of revenue for the PTA:

• The Chili Cook Off is a beloved event involving the entire Roosevelt community of family and friends! It is the PTA’s major source of funding. This FUNdraiser takes place annually the first or second Sunday of October. Every Roosevelt family is contacted and asked to donate volunteer hours or gifts to make this day a success and continue the tradition.

 

• Shopping Programs - By simply signing up for the various programs, friends and families of Roosevelt are able to generate revenue for our school. All you have to do is sign up! More information is available here, on MemberHub here and through Roosevelt Reporters.

 

• Dining Programs - the PTA organizes pizza and other dining events with local restaurants and a portion of dollars spent is donated back to our school. The events are open to the entire Roosevelt community of teachers, staff, family and friends!
