Spread the news to neighbors and friends that Kindergarten registration begins on Friday, February 1st. Siblings are grandfathered into the school. If your are a current family and have a child entering Kindergarten this fall, please contact Mrs. Edwards as soon as possible to make sure your child is on our enrollment list. Parents may register their children between 8:00 am and 3:30 pm Monday through Friday at their child's attendance area school: Roosevelt School, 1151 Vancouver Ave. 259‐3890 Franklin School, 2385 Trousdale Dr. 259‐3850 Lincoln School, 1801 Devereux Dr. 259‐3860 McKinley School, 701 Paloma Ave. 259‐3870 Washington School, 801 Howard Ave. 259‐3880 Children are eligible for Kindergarten if they were born on or before October 1, 2008 (must be 5 by October 1, 2013). A birth certificate or other legal proof of birth date must be presented along with the child's current immunization record and two proofs verifying residency within Burlingame. One of these proofs must be a PG&E bill. These items must be presented to the school before a registra<on packet will be given. Parents are urged to register their children as soon as possible, and return completed paperwork prior to the end of February, to ensure a greater chance of placement at their home school. Children also must have all required immunizations before entering school in August. Children born between October 2, 2008 and December 2, 2008 are eligible for Transitional Kindergarten.
